MARKING the 19th anniversary of the famed tape, the largest celebrations to date are set to take place around the country with various dignitaries in attendance.

Mass shaving of heads in participating barbers will take place all week giving the public the chance to recreate Farrell’s Bullseye cueball look featured in the video.

Screenings of the 2003 movie ‘Daredevil’ will also take place throughout the month.

A ‘breakfast lunch and dinner’ buffet will be available in Dublin Castle to all ticket holders of this year’s Farrell-Con convention.

There will be a ‘best undressed’ cosplay competition taking place in the RDS, performers are asked to wait to disrobe until they are inside the venue.

‘What princess wants princess gets’ wish-granting stations will be placed at several locations around the country. First 20 people dressed as princesses through the doors at the RDS will get a signed copy of the tape.

Talk like a ‘durty Dub’ in bed tutorials will take place with leading dirty talk professionals and writers.

Local amateur dramatics groups will stage faithful interpretations of the video in dramatic readings and large scale musicals.

A special two-hour broadcast on the lasting impact of the video will air on RTÉ and feature guest Sheila Hefferty, who holds the record for most views of the video.
