Data Centre Granted Planning For Moher Cliff Face

AN BORD Pleanála has granted permission for the first of 9 data centres which will be constructed onto the side of the Cliffs of Moher which will benefit from the cliff’s cold temperatures and damp atmosphere to help keep vital data for multi-national companies cool, WWN has learned.

“You won’t even notice them, and the best thing is they won’t rely on the country’s water supply to keep cool and will use the strong winds to power itself, which is a win-win for everyone,” insisted Dept. of Environment source today at an unveiling of the plans for the new centres.

It is understood the first centre will focus on housing specific data from Chinese social network, TikTok, harbouring an increasing number of Andrew Tate videos which have swarmed the site in the last few months.

“Due to the high increase of Tate videos we’ve had to expand our data servers and we believe the Cliffs of Moher data centre to be the perfect location to deal with such a large cache of video files,” a TikTok spokesperson revealed.

Aptly named the Tate Centre, the construction of the build has been branded as an abomination by the local tourist board, claiming that the construction will be unsightly and will deter visitors from visiting the site.

“For fuck sake lads, a data centre on the side of the Cliffs of Moher? What gobshite thought this would be a good idea?” a brief Clare tourism board statement read today, welcoming the news.
