Ironic Visits To Irish Wax Museum Set To Increase By 5000%

THE IRISH WAX Museum is set to break visitor records thanks to the addition of a wax work which appears to be honouring either Billy Corgan, Mick Lynch or The Hood from Thunderbirds.

“We’d be shut down in a day if we relied solely on footfall from tourists with a genuine interest in the waxwork art form, the real money is in people filming the whole exhibit while breaking their shite laughing,” explained head of ironic tours at the museum, Helen Forde.

With the addition of the bald figure holding a microphone and stood next to Darth Vadar, online ticket sales have soared.

“We had lucrative offers to send the waxwork to tour various other landmarks such as Potato Jesus and the Ronaldo statue,” added Forde, as she was overwhelmed by a crowd of eager visitors.

Ecstatic early visitors stated they were sure the whole sordid display was a rich illustration of how a treasured artist was misjudged by the media and not valued for her unique artistic talents but that right now they’re just in it for the memes.

“I’m humbled by being honoured in a such a way, I will make it my mission to visit this museum,” said FIFA head honcho Gianni Infantino after learning of the waxwork rendering.

Meanwhile, a nearby clothes shop has asked people to be on the lookout for thieves after they had a shop mannequin stolen from their display window.
