Week Dragging Out

THE week is said to be dragging the absolute arse out of itself, WWN can reveal today.

Despite it only being Monday, the week continues to drag on and on, and doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon, forcing many people into a state of anxiety and uncertainty.

“I can’t believe it’s only Monday,” said one man, who admitted thinking it was another day that wasn’t Monday, “I don’t know what day I have with these short evenings. It’s really dragging out, so it is. At this rate, the weekend won’t be here until next week”.

The week, which began this morning at 00.01, is expected to last right on until Sunday, but may finish earlier on Friday, depending on what way you look at it.

“In some countries the week begins on Sunday morning’s, after Saturday night has elapsed,” explained week expert Karl Walsh, who has been studying weeks all of his adult life, “This week is exceptionally long for a lot of people due to it being the end of the month, payday, so it really is dragging.

“However, next week should be a lot quicker for everyone, and every week thereafter leading up to Christmas. Weeks tend to get a lot faster at this time of year”.

In fact, the slowest week of the year isn’t even this week, but in January, when some weeks can last up to 168 hours in length.
