WWN has received exclusive access to a series of emails sent from Irish billionaire Denis O’Brien to US presidential hopeful Donald Trump, in which he stresses to Trump that there are “easier ways of running a country”.

New York mogul Trump, worth an estimated $4 billion in monetary terms, announced his candidacy for the 2016 presidential race at a huge press event two weeks ago.

The 69-year-old stressed in his announcement speech that he would bankroll his bid for the Oval Office using his own cash, prompting an email from Denis O’Brien stressing that if he really wanted to run a country, he should sit back and let someone else win, then use his cash to just buy them.

O’Brien, who knows the New Yorker from several golfing trips at Trump’s golf resort in Doonbeg, was quick to point out that simply using one’s cash to manipulate the political landscape had “worked well” for him in the past.

“You’re going about this all wrong,” wrote O’Brien, Ireland’s richest man with an estimated fortune of €6 billion.

“There’s no sense in going through all the work of actually running for president, travelling around the country canvassing, having posters printed up. Plus, if you win, it’s a massive pain in the hole dealing with the Middle East and all that shite. Sure couldn’t you just let some other lad win, and slip him a few bob?” adding. “You’re not stuck for it, you cheap hoor LOLZ”.
