Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum are separating after nearly nine years of marriage with a fan custody battle imminent, WWN can confirm.

Millions of fans were left in limbo last night following the news, forcing Tatum & Dewan to make a joint statement on their social media channels just before bedtime.

“Just because we’re not going to be with each other anymore, doesn’t mean we love you any less,” the pair told fans as they laid awake worrying about the consequence of such a split. “We want you to know that this is not your fault, and there is nothing wrong with you. We still care about each other. It’s just that we won’t be together like before, but you will now have two different celebrities to fawn over; it will be double the fun!”

However, several older fans were not so receptive of the news.

“Why do you guys have to go and ruin everything?” one adult female in her late 20s pointed out, before locking herself into her apartment, “I hate you and I’m never going to follow you again”.

Lawyers for Jenna Dewan believe a straight 50/50 split down the middle should be agreed, but Mr. Tatum’s legal team believes he should have more fan custody due to his celebrity status.

A source close to the couple explained: “Channing plans on taking all his fans with him so this could get very bitter, very quickly, and the effects could be emotionally devastating for the fans, and could lead to abandonment and anxiety issues in later life”.
