World Acting Like The Syrian War Has Gone Away

In some fortuitous news for embattled despot Bashar Al Assad it seems the World has decided to forget there is a civil war ongoing in Syria

Following the recent developments regarding chemical weapons and their use in the conflict many of the World’s leading politicians have put everything on hold in order to shy away from the thorny issue of continued murder and slaughter of innocent civilians.

Despite incurring casualties of more than 100,000 human beings a great many media outlets have preferred to report on other news items which are considered more pressing such as the daily whereabouts of just about every famous ever.

Media expert Josh DeBrow explained to WWN the possible reasons for the recent lack of reporting on Syria.

“Nobody gives a shit,” responded DeBrow in a lengthy exchange laying bare the complex nature of collective indifference.
