A NEW York police chief warned Israeli authorities today after a US-Palestinian teenager was filmed ‘being beaten’ in a house arrest.

Tariq Abu Khdeir, a 15-year-old American citizen from Florida, was detained by Israeli authorities in Jerusalem following violent protests over the killing of the 16-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the cousin of Tariq.

“Beating American citizens is our job,” warned  New York Police Department Commissioner William Bratton. “How dare any foreign police department touch our countrymen without seeking permission from us first. Not only was the beating uncalled for, but was pretty lame and dare I say it, amateurish.”

Commissioner Bratton went on to slam the technique used by the Israeli police shown in the video, pointing out the “strikes to the face” were nothing short of ‘stupid’.

“Any good cop knows that marks on the face leads to trouble down the line.” he explained while making violent actions with his fists. “I didn’t see one kidney punch throughout the whole video. These goons are amateurs and should be ashamed of themselves.”

The young teen is thought to be shown being repeatedly punched and kicked in the head by police in the video filmed by a witness at the scene in East Jerusalem and posted online by Tel Aviv news site +972.
