2FM Announces It’s To Move To Late Night Slot On RTÉ Gold

RTÉ has revealed it is to move the entirety of 2fm to a late-night weekend slot on RTÉ Gold, WWN has learned.

Following former 2fm presenters, the station’s remaining presenters will be condensed into a 50-minute slot prerecorded remotely off site.

“We had sound issues with the echoes in the 2fm building as it’s so empty, so we had no other choice to move the whole station to RTÉ Gold,” a source explained the reasoning behind the move.

The move comes after four of its flagship presenters have announced they are leaving the station in the last month, however RTÉ has confirmed that Dave Fanning is probably never fucking off.

“Yup, Dave’s still here, doing Dave stuff, so there’s that, we suppose,” a source said, rolling their eyes.
