Hollywood Actress Marilyn Monroe Passes Away Aged 92

HOLLYWOOD movie icon and singer Norma Jean Baker aka Marilyn Monroe, who was best known for her roles in Some Like It Hot and Monkey Business, passed away in her sleep at her East Florida home last night, WWN has learned.

The Associated Press reports that Monroe died after a battle with a short illness, leaving behind her three children, Jack, Robert and Jean, who were all believed to be at her side at the time of her passing.

Retiring from her role as Marilyn Monroe in 1962, Norma went on to write inspirational quotes for a living and worked as a copywriter for some of the biggest greeting card companies in the world.

In 2004, Norma struck a multimillion euro deal with the internet to write inspirational Marilyn Monroe quotes and memes, which are still in circulation today.

Thousands of Facebook and Instagram pages face closure and huge job losses as Monroe’s death means there will be a supply shortage in the inspirational quote markets.

“Mum loved writing those quotes and reading the responses they got in comment sections,” son Jack recalled in an interview this morning. “She will be sorely missed by everyone who loved her and her work”.

Marilyn Monroe will be buried beside her husband Nikola Tesla in a private ceremony in New York.
