Irish Judiciary Tells Possessors Of Child Sexual Abuse Images They’ve Nothing To Fear Over 1,000 Extra Jail Spaces Being Made Available
NEWS THAT Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan intends to announce and then fail to introduce nearly 1,000 new jail cells into the Irish prison system has led Irish judges to reassure sex offenders they needn’t worry.
“I’d hate to think there’s a retired civil servant, an upstanding GAA coach, a respected businessman worrying himself sicker than he already is that when he’s caught with utterly horrific sexual abuse images, he’s thinking he’s set for prison. Don’t worry lads, we’ve got you covered,” confirmed several Irish judges to WWN.
With prison capacity currently at 115%, Minister O’Callaghan’s new measures could see the government continue to refuse to build an actual additional prison while at the same time getting some nice headlines.
However, nice headlines come at a cost as evidenced by the momentary panic that needlessly spread throughout the pervert community due to reckless government announcements that initially sounded as though a sea change in how certain crimes are viewed within the judiciary was afoot.
“My favourite support for trousers? Suspenders. How do I like my disbelief while watching action movies? Suspended. Favourite type of bridge? Suspension. And what do I think when someone has 10,000 images on their PC depicting depraved sexual offences? Suspend that sentence!” confirmed one judge everyone knows the name of.
