“You’re Right, It Is Ridiculous” Putin Immediately Ends Ukraine War After Trump Comments
REALISING the error of his ways, Russian President for life Vladimir Putin has recalled all Russian troops from sovereign Ukrainian territory this morning calling an end to the occupation of disputed territories before then apologising to the world for wasting so many lives over the past five years.
“I feel so stupid, why didn’t anyone pull me aside and tell me how ridiculous this whole thing was?” Putin said, chastising his war team at a special live broadcast sitting in the Kremlin last night.
Apologising for deaths in the hundreds of thousands, Mr Putin said he will now take a well-deserved holiday to ‘reevaluate things’, after a ‘rare lapse in judgement’.
“I was surrounded by nothing but yes men. All I needed was someone to say, ‘No, Vlad, you may want to rethink this one, it’s a bit silly’,” Putin explained, before firing all his generals.
The staggering u-turn comes after US President Donald Trump made a post on his own Truth Social site, stating “Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE”.
“When I read those words in capitals like that, it just hit home, you know?” Putin said of the moment he read the historic post. “I don’t even want Ukraine, I guess I was just bored of being a billionaire dictator ruling a landmass which takes up 11% of the world.
“As they say, ‘it’s tough at the top'”.
