Ireland To Play Israel Remotely On PlayStation 5

THE Republic of Ireland’s home UEFA Nations League fixture with Israel will now be played remotely on the PlayStation 5, WWN has learned.

The FAI confirmed 11 players from each team will compete on EA FC 2026 from the comfort of their own homes, streamed live online with the comments off.

“This was the only route we could go after calling for Israel to be suspended from UEFA competitions over its genocide in Gaza,” an FAI spokesperson stated.

However, concerns over cheating and hacking are already complicating the fixture, after Israel named a squad made up not of footballers, but of world champion EA FC gamers.

“Troy Parrott has been playing EA FC constantly for weeks in preparation, but he’ll be no match for world number one Ching Lee from China, who somehow now has an Israeli grandmother,” Irish manager Heimir Hallgrímsson said.

““As for our goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher, he insists on wearing the gloves and just button bashes and hopes for the best. We could get trashed here.””

Following the announcement, the FAI has officially requested that Israel be removed from the EA FC 2026 game itself.

“Maybe to level the playing field a bit, we’d be happy to play them on Gaelic Games: Football on the PS2”.
