Trump Appoints Son-In-Law President Of Ukraine

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump has announced that he has, after an extensive and rigorous recruitment process, unilaterally named his son-in-law president of Ukraine.

Jared Kushner’s appointment comes after Volodymyr Zelensky was critical of an oil deal Trump struck with Russia, bolstering the finances of Russia’s beleaguered economy.

“It’s an honour to be president of this great nation, I think my summer internship defending the destruction of Gaza and my work experience accepting money from Saudi Arabia more than prepares me for being head of a state,” said Kushner in a LinkedIn post updating his work history.

Eric Trump was vocal about his disappointment at failing to be given the position but was placated with a new high level role of watching the traffic cones outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington DC.

However, these recent events haven’t been welcomed by everyone.

“Oh no Donald, please stop, you’re master strategist. It is like the chess in 4-D when we negotiate. You put me in really hard position, what will I do now?” remarked Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the aftermath of Trump agreeing a deal to lift sanctions on over $7 billion worth of Russia’s oil.

“You know, I think you have to hand it to the president. Many people after missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize, would be down. But what did he do? He went out there on make sure a war criminal has income to pay for more war crimes,” shared one close White House insider.
