Orange Order To March Through Michelle O’Neill’s Late Late Show Interview

AHEAD OF First Minister Michelle O’Neill’s planned appearance for an interview on The Late Late Show this evening, the Orange Order lodge that has been skulking nearby the Garvaghy Road for the last two weeks is believed to be plotting a march through RTÉ studios, WWN understands.

“Nothing disruptive, nothing antagonistic just a wee walk and some drumming and singing,” confirmed an Orange Order spokesperson, speaking from 1690.

While RTÉ upper management would ordinarily be weary of such events transpiring and the feared impact such red-faced orbs of rage appearing on television would have on the public’s desire to renew their licence fee, in the wake of a €20 million cut to their funding in the budget, RTÉ are very much taking a ‘fuck it’ approach to programming.

“They can use The Late Late owl as a drum stick for all I care,” confirmed an RTÉ spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the Orange Order have defended their planned disruption.

“It might not come across on the screen when we march through, blood vessels popping, but we’re actually having a lovely time and it’s full of joy and happiness, no other emotion, say a negative one like hatred, is governing us at all,” added an Orangeman as he carefully watched a ‘how to look like you’re walking forward while going backwards’ YouTube marching tutorial in preparation for this evening.
