World Leaders Criticise People’s Stubbornly Consistent Empathy For Palestinians
WITH THE ISRAELI government re-announcing its ongoing attempt to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, world leaders have criticised how wedded many people are to the idea that Israel systematically killing innocent Palestinians is not just wrong but something that should be stopped.
“Take a leaf out of our book and just, like, let it happen,” said one spokesperson for S.P.I.N.E (Spineless Politicians’ International Networking Enterprise), a series of groups such as the UN, G7 and G20 which routinely meet to discuss doing nothing.
“Nineteen straight months of ‘stop the killing of Palestinian children’ this ‘n that, I really thought you guys would get bored, isn’t there any good distractions on Netflix or something? What’s with the obsession? Honestly,” added the genuinely bemused spokesperson.
Long abandoning hope that a malaise among those objecting to the IDF death machine would set in, world leaders have been left to contemplate the endlessly curious nature of the naive voting public.
“It’s not even happening in your country and you’re out there protesting, make it make sense,” added the spokesperson, struggling with the concept of empathic response to news that 57 people have died from starvation in Gaza due to an Israeli imposed aid blockade which has been in place since the 2nd of March.
After being begged to renew efforts to bring an end to Israel’s impunity, a collection of world leaders confirmed they were redoubling their effort to suppress protests against the war on Gaza and criticism of the Israeli state.
Elsewhere, historians have confirmed Benjamin Netanyahu has all but secured his own dedicated chapter in the book of ‘World’s Most Evil Bastards’.
