‘Not Now, We’re Busy’ World Tells India & Pakistan
INDIA has today claimed it has struck multiple targets inside Pakistan housing what it describes as ‘terrorist infrastructure’ prompting outrage from the Pakistani government who claimed a number of civilians have been killed.
However, the world has confirmed to both Pakistan and India that now is that a good in case you hadn’t noticed.
“We appreciate things are getting quite heated but we’ve actually reached our conflict quota for the year,” a spokesperson for the world’s ever dwindling attention span confirmed in response to news Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has authorised his country’s armed forces to take corresponding action against India in the wake of the strikes.
The recent flare up in regional tensions had arisen due to the killing by Pakistani militants of 26 tourists, mostly from India in Kashmir.
“Take a ticket and join the end of the queue just behind Sudan there and we’ll get to you eventually, thanks,” added the spokesperson.
Others have criticised the nuclear powers and neighbour for what has been called a naively timed attempted to speed along World War III.
“Really, a fresh conflict? Now? After Rhianna announced she’s pregnant? After Inter and Barca’s 13 goal thriller? It’s like you don’t even know the Diddy trial has started or that Jennifer Aniston’s home was rammed with a car. You really expected eyeballs and attention on this?” confirmed one person with knowledge of the world’s internet scrolling habits.
