Man With Calf Tattoo Now Personally Obliged To Wear Shorts All Year Round

LOCAL man Derek Webb has admitted to not fully thinking through his calf tattoo ahead of the colder seasons, only realising now he is destined for months of cold legs.

Opting for an Arsenal crest on his left calf in a show of support to his favourite English football team, the Irish man has now warned others to think first before permanently inking the lower layers of skin on their limbs.

“Not one of my better ideas now I think about it,” Webb admitted, referring to the position of the football crest and not the fact he got a football crest as a tattoo in his mid-thirties, “hopefully it won’t be too cold this Winter, but I really have no other choice now but to wear three-quarter-length cargo shorts for the rest of my living days.”

Despite being admired by many, the calf-tattoo has already taken over Webb’s entire personality, with many people describing him as ‘the lad with the leg tattoo’.

“At least it’s memorable,” Webb defended, seemingly unaware of the vast number of similar men his age with calf tattoos forced to wear shorts, “it sticks me out from the crowd”.

It is estimated over 500,000 Irish men are treated for hypothermia every year because they refuse to cover up during the winter months.
