A JOINT statement by officials from the Ukraine and the US governments, confirming Ukraine has a agreed to a 30-day ceasefire has been greeted warmly by those wishing to see an end to Russian aggression and war crimes.

However, minutes after the ceasefire was confirmed, Vladimir Putin released a statement confirming he is committed to breaking the ceasefire Ukraine has agreed to.

“And when we do, we would very much appreciate and expect president Trump and his administration to defend our actions, placing blame on Ukraine for ‘agitating Russia’ and then press them to agree to a more uneven ceasefire which, yes, you guessed it, we’ll break again,” shared Putin.

The Russia leader went on to stress how important it was for people on the Elon Musk owned X platform to immediately come to Russia’s defence whenever the Kremlin first accuses Ukraine of breaking the ceasefire.

“This is a team effort, capitulating to our every demand requires a little bit of help. And frankly, the guys running our bot accounts on there, well, they’re so exhausted from spreading misinformation their fingers are about to fall off,” added Putin.

Sources close to the Kremlin have confirmed that they had initially ruled out staging ‘false flag’ attacks to ‘prove’ Ukraine will have broken the ceasefire first but then remembered it does not matter how obvious they make it, people will still come out in defence of their actions.
