Investigation Launched As Man Killed In Nice Part Of Dublin
GARDAÍ have appealed to drug gangs to please keep their violence and shootings outside of perceived affluent areas of the city and wider county after the shooting dead of a man with links to organised crime in the leafy Dublin suburb of Dun Laoghaire.
“Keep this up now, and we’ll really be coming down hard you, people’s property prices are at stake” confirmed a Garda spokesperson in their direct address to gangland figures.
While acknowledging the perpetrators deserved ‘some credit’ for not shooting an innocent member of the public during the shooting, given previous form, security services are said to very unhappy with the choice of location.
“Come on now, you know the rules, pick off each other at a safe distance from the sections of society that are happy buying your coke but don’t think this is what their purchases result in. It’s very unfair to give them a dose of reality,” added the spokesperson.
“Plus, because you didn’t do it down the alleyway of some hole, people won’t so easily forget this happened which means you’re putting pressure on us to solve it which is really unfair”.
Elsewhere, nearby property-price conscious residents of surrounding suburbs are said to be ‘in shock’ after the truly horrific incident.
“Yeah I can’t believe the media is calling Dun Laoghaire an ‘affluent area’, it sends a shiver down your spine,” shared one property-price conscious Blackrock resident.
