Aussie PM’s Kylie Remarks Bring End To Long Tradition Of Politicians Playing ‘Shag, Marry, Kill’ On Podcasts
THE SURPRISE controversy over Australian PM Anthony Albanese’s recent podcast appearance in which he said he’d ‘shag’ Kylie Minogue in a game of ‘Shang, Marry, Date’ has seen the sudden halt to the time honoured tradition of world leader and politicians appearing on podcasts to talk shagging, WWN can report.
Politicians cheerily volunteering who they would ‘shag, marry or date’ on podcasts is so inextricably linked to the political fabric of well over 100 countries, so mundane and everyday, that the retiring of the format has been met with a confused and perplexed reaction.
“It’s a shame such a staple of voter outreach and campaigning is gone, people don’t want to know which policy their politicians will shag, this sets a worrying precedent. Also when did the world get so soft? Bring back the original ‘fuck, marry, kill’ format you cowars” shared one fan of the interview format.
“I don’t understand why this has to be the end of these sorts of interviews, we as Australians can’t truly know or trust our politicians until they tell us who makes them stand to a attention like a kangaroo on its tail,” shared one disappointed podcast listener.
“I don’t remember any fuss when Micheál Martin went on The Two Johnnies podcast to say Peig Sayers would get it,” remarked one Irish observer of the furore.
