RORY MCILROY ISN’T just taking home €850,000 and a nice trophy for winning the Irish Open yesterday, as WWN can reveal the full perks that come with being a champion on Irish soil.

McIlroy is permitted to drive a custom modified golf cart on all Irish roads which can reach top speeds of 120kpm.

He is permitted to drive the cart in bus lanes and shunt Michael O’Leary’s taxi off the road without receiving any legal penalty.

“Donuts, bike lanes, overtaking, parking on a green or in a disabled parking bay, you name it and we’ll turn a blind eye to it,” confirmed the garda traffic corps.

As part of being the Irish Open champion once more, McIlroy is allowed skip anyone ahead of him on a round of golf on an Irish course, even if he’s playing slow and is overtaking a solo player while in a four-ball.

He receives free lifetime membership to not just the K Club, but clubs A through to Z.

Can exchange the glass vase trophy for something else at the Irish Open gift shop.

Heavy-set middle-aged lads walking around bollock naked in golf changing rooms are banned from trying to engage in conversation with McIlroy.

Cannot be forced by Adam Sandler to appear in Happy Gilmore 3.
