Varadkar Leaks News Of New Waterford Whispers Book

THE EDITORIAL BOARD of WWN condemns in the strongest terms Tánaiste Leo Varadkar’s decision to leak the news of WWN’s new book ahead of its publication date today.

The book is now available to order online or over the phone at all good local and independent book shops that would appreciate and value your business, as well as being available online with nefarious global overlords/online book distributors named after rainforests.

“It had the word ‘confidential’ written on the cover, clear as day, he should know better,” confirmed owner and proprietor of WWN, Declan O’Ryan, who is resident on Mars for tax avoidance purposes.

“Of course, you can order the book HERE right now, but for the Tánaiste to have leaked the news in the first place, we’re extremely disappointed,” added O’Ryan.

In tense scenes in the Dáil, Taoiseach Martin defended Varadkar for what he called an ‘error of judgement’ while deputy Michael Healy Rae demanded Martin retract earlier comments shouting “How dare you, I’m not a cabbage, take that back, I’m not a cabbage. Will the Taoiseach take that back”.

Although our global news network accumulates profits in the billions and is the envy of Rupert Murdoch and various opther media tycoons, every purchase of the new WWN book is much appreciated and will go towards keeping the lights on in the Waterford Whispers News newsroom.
