Film Student Shares Picture From Latest Shoot Like It’s Lord Of The Fucking Rings

DAY one of filming on the set of local further education college project ‘The Tree’ kicked off to a glorious start this morning after ‘producer’ Alan Tobin uploaded a mysterious shot of himself to Instagram holding a clipboard with the words ‘big things ahead’ accompanying the post.

The vague but intriguing image depicted the 18-year-old film student wearing industry style headphones in a wooded area, presumably the secret location of the module’s latest shoot.

“We can’t really discuss exactly what it is we’re shooting right now due to non-disclosure agreements, but let me just say it’s going to be epic,” Tobin replied to a friend’s comment, despite it containing just the word ‘cool’, “typical grey sky as usual, but I’m sure we can fix all that in post,” he then added, hoping someone will pick up his insider jargon.

Tobin began his level 5 further education course late last year, in the hopes of becoming Ireland’s next big film maker.

“Me and the crew (fellow students) spent the entirety of yesterday afternoon planning this short, and we’re really looking forward to showing everyone (his class) the end product,” Tobin again responded, this time to a courtesy like sent from his mother, Jane, who was feeling sorry for the lack of interest in his post.

Little is known about the up-and-coming short, however, Tobin later uploaded a picture of the film’s director Niall (fellow student) talking to one of the cast (fellow student) in a stereotypical director-talking-to-actor pose, like they were on the set of Lord Of The Rings or something.

“It’s great to be working with such a professional team,” he later updated, now desperately tagging classmates, “having the right people on the job is half the work”.

UPDATE: Alan and his team later received a ‘fail’ grade for the project after forgetting to insert the SD card into the sound equipment during filming.
