FORGET the marriage referendum, that’s old news. The real argument that will define Ireland in the 21st century is that of abortion, with more and more calling for the repeal of the 8th amendment, which equates the life of an unborn child with that of its mother.
Be under no illusion, people, there is no middle ground in this battle. You’re either all for abortion or you’re all against it. There are no moderates. There can be no people who agree with certain aspects of the other side’s beliefs or opinions. You can be either pro-choice, in which case you’re a heartless murderer with no consideration for anyone except yourself, or you’re pro-life, in which case you’re a moron who lives their life in the fear that if you don’t follow the 2000-year-old teachings of a mythical space ghost, you’ll go to hell when you die.
