ACTING LEGEND Terrance Stamp, who passed away aged 87, is to be buried in the Phantom Zone, as per his final burial requests.

“He always liked the idea of the floating in a thin layer of 1980s-grade low-definition perspex, throughout the galaxy in perpetuity, with only the stars for company,” shared a source close to the actor, famous for playing Superman villain General Zod.

“Some of his fondest acting memories involve being stuck in that thing by Marlon Brando, flipping over and hurtling through space!”

The Phantom Zone, famous for its appearance in the Superman movies, is a pocket-sized, isolated dimension that was used as a prison by Kryptonians for beings with God-like powers but admittedly could also double-up as a pretty cool final resting place.

“God-like powers? Yeah that about right; The Limey, Far From The Maddening Crowd, The Hit, Star Wars, Billy Budd, Wall Street,” confirmed our source.

Meanwhile, learned critics of art and culture have decried the celebration of Stamp’s acting achievements due to the fact he gave into ‘modern woke nonsense’ by portraying a transgender woman named Bernadette in cult classic film The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert 31 years ago.
