“Resit The Driver’s Theory Test?” Labour Party’s Solution To Housing, Health, Immigration & Infrastructure Issues Sees Support Skyrocket
IT CAN BE hard for opposition parties to gain to attention of the media, cut through the noise and get the ear of the general public, but Labour are doing just that and going viral online with their solutions to Ireland most pressing issues.
“I dunno, everyone has to resit the driver’s theory test?” offered Labour, setting out their post-election stall and letting the Irish public know when it comes to housing, health, immigration and infrastructure, they have the solutions and aren’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops.
As a result of Labour’s show stopping announcement, Sinn Féín are reportedly staging internal crisis talks to deal with how this latest policy announcement could see the party lose the majority of its voter base to Labour and lose of the title of largest opposition party.
“Yes, this is what I’m talking about, speak to the people – connect with the issues closest to them, be visible and loud on the key things,” said one nurse moving out of an overpriced shed in a back garden before heading straight to the airport.
However not everyone has welcomed Labour’s innovative alternative to the dominant ideological malaise when it comes to housing and health displayed by government parties.
“Sitting a theory test, every 10 years? What a fucking joke, and a money racket to boot,” confirmed one local driver who routinely gets confused about who has right of way at roundabouts.
