AFTER 21 years at the helm of Facebook, former CEO Mark Zuckerberg was escorted from Meta HQ in California early this morning after it was announced the company would lay of 5% of its most under-performing workers.

Citing a litany of failures over the past few years which took HR staff several hours to list off, Zuckerberg was handed his redundancy by several Meta board directors who all agreed that his decision to “do things differently following the election of Donald Trump” was a good one, starting with his immediate firing.

“Great idea, Mark, probably your best here in a long while,” the orange lipped 40-year-old was told as security handed him a box for clearing out his office desk before taking his Meta CEO lanyard from him and calling him a cab.

“We’re confident that we’ll find a replacement CEO who can blatantly steal other tech companies hard work for Meta’s financial gain – it’s not rocket science.” a spokesperson for the social media giant stated.
