Liverpool Fans Unsure What This Warm Happy Feeling Is

THOUSANDS of Liverpool fans have expressed concerns about a strange and unusual sensation currently spreading across their bodies, with many claiming to have ‘never felt like this before’.

The symptoms, which range from feelings of elation to a breathless sense of renewed hope and optimism, are said to have begun yesterday evening, and coincided with the final whistle of the Europa Cup quarter-final clash between Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool managed to secure a place in the semi-finals of the tournament by clawing back from a 3 goal deficit, eventually winning 4-3 following a last minute goal by Dejan Lovren.

Following the final whistle, fans in attendance as well as those watching at home began to experience unusual symptoms such as an absence of the customary Liverpudlian dourness, and a tightening of the facial muscles which contorted their features into what has been referred to as “a smile”.

“Is this permanent? Will I feel like this forever?” asked one worried fan.

“It feels weird; I feel faint and exhilarated at the same time. I’m short of breath, and I feel giddy. This is very unusual for me, normally I feel almost no joy at all”.

Fans affected by the wave of emotion have been urged to remain calm, as it is bound to only last for a short period of time.
