Investigation Underway As Rapper Sexually Assaulted Onstage

A 56-year-old woman is being questioned today over an alleged assault on a rap artist on stage while performing at a global music event in Coachella.

Canadian singer-songwriter Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham was attacked by the middle-aged woman in front of a large festival audience, but no one intervened.

“We are currently investigating the assault and would ask any witnesses to come forward,” lead investigator Todd Chamberson told WWN. “The incident was caught on camera”.

It is understood that Drake is currently undergoing a medical examination at a local hospital and sources say he is also being treated for shock.

“One minute you’re performing in front of thousands of people and the next you’re being groped and assaulted by an elderly woman,” said a friend of the rapper. “What surprises me is that nobody intervened to help him”.

The woman, who resides in the United Kingdom, was arrested shortly after the concert by the Californian police and can be held up to 24 hours in custody.

Family members of the victim have asked for privacy at this difficult time.
