Max Clifford Looking Forward To Well Deserved Career Break

High profile publicist Max Clifford is said to be eagerly looking forward to a well deserved career break following nearly 40 years at the cutting edge of public relations.

Regarded by many as the King of the Tabloids, Clifford gained fame for representing many of the UK’s top tier celebrities ranging from The Beatles to Jade Goody over the course of his illustrious career. In a statement issued through his PR company, he spoke of being ready to slow things down and enjoy life away from the glare of the media.

“Mr. Clifford has enjoyed four decades as one of the industries most respected individuals” said Claudia Camden, second in command at Max Clifford Associates.

“However, he has suffered from bouts of ill health over the past few years. We wish him all the best in his quest to overcome the effects of these troubling times, and look forward to him returning to his rightful place as the UK’s number one celebrity representative and media guru when the next phase of his career begins”.

At this moment it is unclear as to where Clifford will spend his career break, although it is believed the sabbatical may last anything from 10 to 16 years.
