A desperate West Ham board are said to be exploring the possibility of bringing back Sam Allardyce’s moustache in the hope of turning around the struggling club’s fortunes.
It is no secret that following a falling out several years ago Allardyce and his moustache parted company, with the moustache going on to coach several teams on the continent.”Many fans are aware that the moustache has a great deal of tactical knowledge, but whether he can work with Sam again remains to be seen,” Daily Mail sports journalist Mike Koff told WWN.

The West Ham board are set to offer the moustache a six figure salary in order to tempt it back onto to the face of the long ball loving ex-Bolton, Blackburn and Newcastle manager.

West Ham have conceded 11 goals in the last two games with some speculating Sam Allardyce’s moustache should replace him altogether as the club’s manager.

“We believe in Sam, but we know how sharp a footballing brain the moustache has and we need that now. I wouldn’t object to it having an input on transfer policy either,” chairman of the Hammers supporters club Harry explained to Harry Jones.

West Ham co-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan were unavailable for comment when contacted by WWN.

More to follow as we get it…
