CELEB extraordinaire Amanda Brunker has been confirmed today as the main headliner for the Oxegen 2011 deaf tent.

WWN can exclusively reveal that the former Miss Ireland, journalist, Talent judge, socialite and general TV skivvy will rock the festivals first ever ‘deaf tent’ on Saturday afternoon.

Music lovers have welcomed the news.

And in even better news for the partially deaf, concert organisers are also supplying free ear-plugs at the tents main entrance.

“We have thought of everything this year.” said MCD promoter Denis Desmond.

“Amanda emailed me a few weeks back. We knew straight away where to put her.

“Her amazing visuals are sure to rock the all new deaf tent this year.” he added.

The ‘size 8’ 37-year-old said today that she would use the Oxegen showcase as the launch pad for her music career.

In a recent interview revealing the first details of her show Brunker said: “I just needed a change. I mean, I have done everything possible.

“This move was inevitable.”

“I can’t wait to hear everyone screaming my name when I’m up there. I’m so excited.”

The Sunday World Columnist is set to wow revellers with some of her favourite dance moves from the eighties as well as various poses and cheeky winking gestures while eating fat free yogurts live on stage, and organisers promise an “epic, unforgettable night”.
