“I Thought It Was An LGBTQ Thing,” Zuckerberg Explains €150k GAA Donation

META founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan have donated €150,000 to three Waterford GAA clubs in what is now believed to have been a huge mistake.

Speaking to WWN earlier, Mr Zuckerberg explained that he presumed the three clubs, located closest to his newly bought Strancally Castle in Co Waterford, were actually ‘LGBTQ things’.

“I was pretty sure hurling was some kind of gay term,” the now embarrassed tech billionaire admitted. “GAA, gay… even the word sliotar sounds, you know, a bit queer!”

The 42-year-old said he wanted to give something back to the LGBTQ community, as Meta and many more big tech companies have more or less abandoned most of their equality efforts during the Trump administration.

“After asking around I realise now that maybe it’s a good thing I’ve donated to these so-called GAA clubs. Apparently Waterford never win any big competitions, so look, keep it and best of luck – 150 is literally worth about four seconds of my day.” he added.

People who expect the GAA clubs involved to reject a donation from a man who just paid $18bn in a settlement over the harmful impacts his platforms had on children have been reminded GAA managers would write a character reference for Charles Manson if he was good at sport.

Meanwhile outside Strancally Castle, large queues have formed, made up of various other clubs and societies from the area and beyond.

“It’s worth a try,” said chairman of the local ingrown toenail society, Terry Maher, who was seeking a small donation of just €200,000 to ‘help raise awareness’.
