Nation’s Bláthnaidhs Add Another Letter While No One’s Looking
CHOOSING THE COVER of a busy week of large scale events and wider international geo-political instability the Nation’s Bláthnaidhs have added another to their names, hoping no one would notice their dastardly scheme.
“Why they need the extra letter or what they intend to do with it is unclear, but one can’t help presume it is sinister in nature,” remarked a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána who said the matter is being investigated.
“We’ve established an incident room and we believe it might the ‘t’ or the second ‘h’. Where they got it from is something we’re trying to answer, we’re appealing for witnesses”.
First noticed by someone initially dismissed as a jealous Róisín, the ‘letter robbery’ has left many feeling uneasy at the sudden unified action by the Nation’s Bláthnaidhs. Questions over how long this has been planned by Bláthnaidhs, whether Blánaids were informed and if Blá’s were included or considered traitors for shortening their name.
“Nonsense, I’ve always spelled my name B-l-á-t-h-n-a-i-d-h,” confirmed one Bláthnaidh WWN spoke with.
“What worries me most is what this means for those who have trouble spelling certain names. A lot of them work hard at it, and now what? Utter spelling carnage and these Blondneds are going to gaslight us about it?” shared one worried member of the general public.
