A LOCAL ARTIST who specialises in underwhelming feats of artistic expression believes their mediocre creativity which has yielded consistently disappointing results could be snuffed out in an instance if they were to seek help for their depression, WWN can reveal.

“I dunno man, what if I was prescribed medicine or something? And I like lose ‘it’, my muse, my gift, my vision,” pondered artist Will Conlan, whose work critics have variously called ‘displayed in local galleries’ and ‘undoubtedly played with an instrument’.

Conlan remains resistant to exploring the possibility of cleansing himself of the low frequency of dread that has dogged him for much of his life, lest it pours water on the sort of artistic fire that has him producing art relatives and friends politely comment on when he uploads it to social media.

“I call it ‘An Internal Landscape’, it’s a landscape portrait but of my very soul y’know?” added Conlan, whose technical abilities as a painter has seen him labeled as ‘not a painter’ by fellow artists.

“I feel my creativity is me, it’s my soul and if I was to finally address the dark cloud it could ruin everything, it could be so bad that I achieve the sort of clarity that could see me getting a real job with real pay,” added Conlan, spiraling as he contemplated a horrifying scenario of steady employment.
