Only Time Husband Not On Phone Is When You Ring Him: Report
DESPITE always seeming glued to their phones when you’re beside them, a new report has found that husbands are mysteriously unreachable the moment you try to ring them.
Researchers from Husband Technologies Inc. tracked over 1,000 husbands for six months and concluded that husbands become incredibly busy the exact moment their spouse calls.
“We found that 98 percent of husbands were either driving or doing some form of really important manual labour that required their full attention,” the final report stated. “Any incoming distractions, such as phone calls from their partner, naturally took second place.”
To reduce frustration, the report advises spouses to avoid calling with what it describes as ‘non-urgent queries such as what to get for the dinner’ which may result in confusion and unnecessary arguments over why the husband did not answer, even though he is always on his phone in person.
“Just because your husband is always on the phone when you are with him does not mean he is always on it when you’re not,” the report added, sounding suspiciously like something written by a husband.
In a related study, researchers also found that wives currently on their phones only put them down to complain that their husband is always on his.
