“YOU DUMB SHITS have learned nothing” confirmed Japan is a characteristically polite utterance marking the 80th anniversary of the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

While is it normally custom for world leaders and dignitaries to leave flowers at memorial sites marking the deaths of over 200,000 people, this year a different form of remembrance is taking place.

“We can think of no greater way to say ‘we’ve learned from history’s grand follies’ than by trying to convince militaries to buy our latest limb eviscerating technology,” confirmed one solemn arms dealer.

“It’s not enough to stand in a moment of contemplative silence to acknowledge the horrors, there is no better tribute than actively recreating them right now,” confirmed US and Israeli military officials.

Across the globe warring factions have come together to tear innocent people apart in a fitting nod to those horrific scenes in Japan 80 years ago.

“Personally I don’t like that we mark the anniversary every year, I’m trying to do something so heinous, my crimes suppress the horrors of Hiroshima and I think I’m nearly there,” confirmed several war criminals.

Meanwhile, the Japanese government has confirmed that while it is important to remember what happened, that does not extend to any aspect of World War II pertaining to Japanese war crimes or crimes of their empire.
