Outrage As Price Of Doing Drugs In Field For 3 Days Reaches Excessive Levels

MUSIC FESTIVAL lovers have called on authorities to do something about the exorbitant rise in tickets prices as it has never been more expensive to do drugs in a field for three days straight, WWN can reveal.

“Ticketmaster bastards!” shared one local student, who has been completely priced out of going along with friends to a three-day festival of his choosing.

“This can’t go on like this, I just want to get out of my bin in a field and forget my name, start hallucinating being the bejewelled crown on Marie Antoinette’s head,” said one woman who can’t believe she was able to do drugs in a field for three days for less than €140 a decade ago but now faces near €300 for the same experience now.

While the drugs component of the weekend remains largely affordable for many people, the price of gaining entry to a number of rural fields with poorly maintained portaloos is less straightforward.

“Insurance costs have risen, it probably has nothing with how many people out of their bin require medical attention, but we can’t run these treasured three days in a field doing drugs events unless we can recoup our costs,” explained one of the promoters behind one of the more popular fields.

Veterans of these events have called on more to be done.

“This is a core part of our collective cultural language, we’re in real danger of young people having no experience of their panicked friends dropping them off at the medical tent before fucking off and abandoning them because they think the guards will snatch them up,” explained drugs-in-field veteran Michael Chewjaw.
