Von Der Leyen Disappointed She Wasn’t Able To Include Gift To Israel In US/EU Tariff Agreement

URSULA VON DER LEYEN has apologised to the citizens of the European Union for what she has called her ‘greatest failure in leadership’, WWN can reveal.

“Europe stands with Israel, I say this with full authority on behalf of the 500 million people in Europe. I regret I couldn’t make that part of the trade deal we have just signed with the United States. I’m sorry guys,” a crestfallen von der Leyen expressed.

Somehow celebrating the fact every imported good from Europe to the US acquiring 15% in tariffs as a huge relief and victory, the president of the European Commission couldn’t help but feel something had escaped her grasp.

“Europe and the US has an enduring friendship, an unbreakable bond and that is none moreso evident than in our complicity in the genocide in Gaza, but I just wish I could have got that down in writing somewhere as part of the trade deal, got something nice for Israel in all this,” added von der Leyen.

“I just hope Europeans can feel like the increased tariff taxes collected by the US on EU goods could make their way to the bit of funding that makes up US military aid to Israel. Alas, it is probably just very, very, deeply desired wishful thinking on my part,” concluded the 66-year-old.
