World Gone Mad: It Now A Crime To Be A Lecherous French Man Apparently

FRENCH ACTOR Gerard Depardieu has today received an 18 month suspended sentence for sexually assaulting two women in a trial that has prompted many people with no skin in the game to question what the law even means anymore.

A number of people have been left lamenting the existence of this new, strange and cruel world in which simply being the complete embodiment of the stereotype of a lecherous French man constitutes a crime.

“Speaking as a man, I can only conclude that although I have never been unduly pursued and groped by a French man, I would very much see it as the harmless fun it clearly was. The compliment would well and truly be taken,” explained one weary gentleman who believes we’re losing what it is that makes us human if a French man can’t throw himself at women.

Depardieu, who infamously gave an interview with Time magazine in which he boasted about participating in a number of rapes, is just the latest victim of a world gone mad.

“That a virulent, sexual French man who might as well have walked straight out of a xenophobic Punch magazine cartoon, who is accused separately by many other women for similar offences and is awaiting a possible rape trial, can’t just let his hair down without receiving a fully suspended sentence is horrifying, I feel I’m locked in an asylum,” added another observer of witch hunts.

“Next people will be trying to tarnish the reputation of his good friend Vladimir Putin. I don’t understand this world at all, at all”.
