Poll: Is €430k Too Little To Pay New ‘Housing Tsar’?

FORMER NAMA chief Brendan McDonagh is set to be appointed by Minister for Housing James Browne to take up the reins as Ireland’s ‘housing tsar’ in the newly set up Housing Activation Office and retain his NAMA salary of €430k.

However, many feel this paltry salary would scarcely motivate anyone to do a job which in this case involves identifying the blockages to housing developments.
