Man Who Has Complained About EU Corruption For Decades Disappointed French Courts Agrees With Him

LOCAL MAN Joe Finneran, a long time critic of the EU which he believes to be a manifestly corrupt and bureaucratic Frankenstein’s monster, is said to be overjoyed after a French court secured a conviction of a politician for embezzlement of EU funds.

“This is a disgrace FREE MARINE!” said Finneran, overjoyed at finally having proof for the belief he has expressed for decades; that corruption in the EU is widespread.

“Yes, you’re right I finally have an example now I can point to when arguing with friends, family and colleagues about the wretched rotting core of the EU, but actually it turns out I don’t believe any of it,” explained Finneran, developing a headache from having to forget and rearrange the longstanding beliefs within his brain.

Marine Le Pen, along with 8 MEPs and 12 assistants were convicted of having used funding reserved for the hiring of European Parliament assistants but instead used the money to hire individuals to work for the National Front, now National Rally, party.

“No, not that harmless corruption which I care little about. I meant do something about EU corruption that I outline in vague and broad terms with very little detail, not the sort that is thoroughly investigated and involves politicians I like because they’re virulently anti-immigrant,” outlined Finneran.

Finneran also condemned the order barring Le Pen from running for office for five years as like something ‘I’ve been calling for for years’.

“You only have to look at heroes of democracy and civil liberties Victor Orban and Matteo Salvini coming out defending her to know this is one of those non-corrupt embezzlement things,” concluded Finneran, disappointed the court sided with him and his long-held beliefs.
