Controversial VAR Replay Shows Alisson Building Brick Wall On Goal Line
LIVERPOOL fans may be fist bumping and celebrating in the wake of a 1-0 away win at PSG but the victory has come under criticism after VAR missed blatant rule breaking.
“And I’m not even talking about the clear Konaté red card,” moaned one jealous rival fan who is growing sick and tired of inconsistent refereeing in the game at the top level.
“Look clear as day, see! Alisson spent his pre-game warm up bricklaying,” shared the fan, citing TV coverage of the game which clearly showed the Brazilian keeper putting powdered mortar in a bucket and grabbing a trowel.
The revelation that Alisson constructed a brick wall in plain sight and wasn’t punished by officials, dampens claims that the keeper had one of the all-time great performances between the posts.
“See, there’s just no other explanation for PSG failing to score from 27 shots on targets,” offered one fan, who forgot to account for the the fact this is PSG in the Champion’s League he’s talking about.
The footage of the brick wall construction certainly makes more sense than some of the more unhinged conspiracy theories claiming Alisson was bred in a lab by crossing an octopus with glue.
