Lightning McQueen Scrapped After Failing NCT
WWN MOTORING regrets to inform its readers that beloved racing car Lightning McQueen was scraped earlier today after failing his NCT.
“Sure, it’s hardly worth it. By the time you’ve put the money into him and done the NCT again you’d have spent the same as a new car’ll cost,” a mechanic informed McQueen’s owner, a vintage sports car enthusiast.
The seven-time Piston Cup winner was quickly placed into a car shredder, which made short work of the red paint work and chassis underneath, crushing McQueen in seconds, mangling the metal amidst a cacophony of screeches and jiggering ka-chows.
“He’d barely have been of use as a cup to piss in, never mind win a Piston Cup. Lucky to keep him going this long considering he’d been in a demolition derby at some point too” explained the mechanic, who offered the owner a restored and refurbished Subaru Impreza for a decent price.
The remnants of McQueen were then transferred into a baling press which further crushed him beyond all recognition, placing him on top of a horizontal pile of car carcasses in a solitary and cold storage yard.
