Trump Drops In Polls After Confirming ‘I’m Not A Nazi’
IN WHAT senior US Republican strategists are calling a ‘serious misstep’ that could cost him the election Donald Trump has publicly denied being a Nazi potentially shedding hundreds of thousands of votes in the process.
Weeks of gains, the result of sharing xenophobic rhetoric and encouraging hostility toward minorities, all but evaporated for Trump after he claimed not to be a Nazi while countering criticism leveled at him following racist remarks made by several speakers at his Madison Square Garden rally.
“This sort of shit puts me off voting, if I’m not getting a white Christian ethno-State with Jim Crow era laws then why the fuck should I vote for the guy,” said one severely let down man and former supporter of Donald Trump.
“He stood up there and said ‘I’m not a Nazi, I’m the opposite of a Nazi’, it’s like he doesn’t want to win this election, while not the key demographic, if Trump doesn’t mobilise the Nazi voter demographic it could hurt his chances,” explained one Republican strategist.
Panicking Trump campaign staff are reportedly scrambling to counteract the damage the remarks have done by getting their candidate to attend a cross burning ceremony or by enshrining ‘work sets you free’ as official economic policy.
UPDATE: Some lost votes amongst Trump’s base have been counteracted by the cohort of voters who have no problem voting for someone who fits all the requirements of a fascist as long as they don’t say the ‘Nazi’ part loud allowing.
