Red Flag? Boyfriend Still Complaining About Barbie Movie
LOCAL woman Norah Dylan is seeking the advice of friends, loved ones and even coworkers after she began questioning if she was overthinking the fact her boyfriend is still complaining about the Barbie movie some 16 months after its release.
“Maybe it’s more an amber flag, I’m overreacting typical me, all blaaah and it’s like stop reading into things but is 16 months of unbroken ranting a toxic trait?” Dylan asked her friends before immediately dismissing her own concerns as stupid, nevermind.
Living together for 2 years, 26-year-old Dylan and her boyfriend Greg Dwyer feel their relationship had gone to the next level until Dwyer quit his job to focus on tanking the Rotten Tomatoes scores of any films or TV shows which featured a majority female creative team.
“We don’t have to be simpatico on everything, and I don’t want to insult his hobbies but maybe commenting in the YouTube trailer video for the all-female Ghostbuster reboot every morning is not great?” Dylan mused, unsure if she just love Dwyer for being himself.
“I just don’t get how a capitalist doll company is now hyper-feminist vehicle for hating men, that blatant mocking of men is okay, no that’s not sexist but imagine if a male filmmaker is all like ‘women are ditzy’, cancelled,” offered Dwyer, when Dylan asked if he wanted tea or coffee.
UPDATE: Sadly, Dwyer has just discovered the Joker sequel is a musical.
