“I Just Steal Everyone Else’s Work” Irish Tiktok ‘Comedian’ Reveals Secret To His Success

“I COULD sometimes spend ten to twenty minutes scrolling for a highly engaged viral video before copying it for my own financial gain,” reveals Irish Tik Tok creator comedian star influencer man, Matt Erickson, in an exclusive interview with WWN.

The comedy sensation with now over half a million followers on TikTok shot to success with his unique form of plager-comedy.

“Some comments I hide say, ‘hey Matt, you stole this one from me scene for scene, word for word – that’s shit craic man, credit me at least’, and I reply, ‘no, I revamped it and made it better because I’m more handsome’,” the 30 something year old said calling out ‘haters’ online. “I’m not really bothered about jealous people who spend all their time writing, producing and editing their original content to have it made better by me – they should be honoured. Sure, isn’t imitation is the greatest form of flattery, revenue?”

Matt is one of dozens of Irish TikTok influencers who have become world social media famous on the back of everyone else’s work, making local and national media with tales of their ongoing success without ever crediting the original creators.

“It’s TikTok man, everyone does it, so it’s fine,” Erickson added, who made tens of thousands from sponsored brand posts so far this year, “I’m really looking forward to all the original stuff other creators bring out in the coming months, so I don’t have to”.

Erickson’s live show ‘Funnier Man’ will tour Ireland next year before being beaten to death on the comedy circuit by a group of hard working comedians.
