Relief For Both Candidates As Dehumanisation & Suffering Of Palestinians Not Really A Talking Point

THE MUCH anticipated US presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris had the majority of polls showing Harris was the more convincing of the two, handsomely winning out.

However, the most sticky of wedge issues which would have seen candidates trip up was given brief mention much to the delight of the campaign teams of both Trump and Harris.

“You think Israel dropping 2,000lb bombs on Palestinians is bad? Kamala destroyed Trump,” said one Democrat strategist who is just glad the debate largely stuck to serious issues close to the hearts of Americans and not naive and idealistic frivolity such as ‘preventing genocide in far off places which the US supplies the weapons’.

The debate remained largely sedate aside from the times ABC anchors unfairly tried to attempt to get Trump to adhere to pre-agreed rules for his statements to be governed by something called ‘reality’.

“More important than the issues discussed, the arguments made is that the American people got short viral clips to make new meme formats out of, and if that’s not democracy in action I don’t know what is,” said Harris’s head of Brat Summering team.

Not all people felt the ongoing war crimes that have killed 41,000 people and counting was an issue to blithely speed past and ignore, with some experts seeing it as a missed opportunity for Trump.

“Trump is obsessed with the false notion babies after being aborted after they’re born in America. He could have really made a point about how you’re never too old to be aborted by Israel as a Palestinian, pro-life voters would have loved that,” said one Republican strategist.
