Trump Having Second Thoughts About Lax Gun Laws
US PRESIDENTIAL candidate Donald Trump is reportedly ‘evolving his thinking on lax guns laws’ but motivations for the shift in thinking remain unclear, WWN understands.
“You know what, might not be such a crazy idea,” remarked Trump to a doctor who was stitching up his ear at a Pennsylvania hospital.
“You can get a lot of shots fired off, in a matter of seconds, anyone can get their hands on these things, crazy people,” continued Trump staring off into the middle distance.
Some senior advisers to Trump are worried that being the target in what was America’s 34th mass shooting event in July 2024, could have played a small factor in the candidate’s terrifying anti-gun about turn.
“You know who had a good idea, about guns, that Biden guy,” a zombie like Trump uttered, seemingly backing proposals for enhanced background checks and bans on AR-style rifles.
Elsewhere, in the hours after the assassination attempt on Trump, US president Joe Biden spoke to reporters and wished President Putin a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: The media has been criticised for not speculating wildly enough on details surrounding the shooting, and shamefully failing to misinform their viewers in a ratings race as they scrambled to interview every crackpot in the known universe.
